Valerie has been writing and teaching writing most of her life and is a consultant for the Northern Virginia Writing Project. She is the author or co-author of the following plays and films, Showdown at Galisteo (half-hour film), Prelude (full-length play), Trapped (short play) and Café Destiny (for the Internet). She has co-authored English curriculum guides and she is has produced her first novel, Incidental Daughter. Coming soon is Catching Air.
