PIPW Writers Weekend: Glendale

Writers wishing to learn more about the craft and business of publishable stories, memoirs, and informative narratives, will find significant opportunities Saturday and Sunday, July 20 & 21, at GlendaleCollege in Glendale, CA.
The PIPW Writers Weekend: Glendale, features publishing professionals as speakers and panelists for the educational seminars. The event, open to emerging and intermediate writers of all ages, is produced by the Pacific Institute for Professional Writing (PIPW). Co-sponsors are the Independent Writers of Southern California (IWOSC) and the Small Publishers, Artists and Writers Network (WPN). Additional writersโ€™ groups have been invited to join the weekend activities as sponsors.
The educational focus will be for writers of novels and narrative nonfiction. Saturdayโ€™s theme is The Business of Writing. Sundayโ€™s theme is The Craft of Writing. Each session is 90 minutes long with time for Q&A. Interested writers may purchase a session ticket, a day pass, or a two-day pass.
The website www.PIPWWritersWeekend.com will launch May 1 with a schedule of sessions offered and a list of the speakers.
