The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library is pleased to announce the creation of the Hognander Minnesota History Award. This award, supported by the Hognander Family Foundation, recognizes and celebrates the most outstanding scholarly work by an author on a topic of Minnesota history. Eligible books for the new award are book-length works of scholarship on the topic of Minnesota history. Nominations for this biennial award are now open through Friday, December 9, 2011 for books published in 2010 and 2011.
