I Don’t Brake for Writer’s Block: Effective Techniques to Stay in High Gear

SPAWN Teleseminar: The Power of Your Book Cover

On April 22 at 1 pm Pacific time, we will have a SPAWN member teleseminar with Ron “Hobie” Hobart from Dunn+Associates Design for Authors, Speakers, and Experts

You Have 10 Seconds to Sell Your Book! Use the Power of Your Book Cover To Launch Your Business Empire

Your book cover is much more than product packaging. It’s your most powerful marketing tool… and it should be the solid foundation upon which you build your brand.

But, it can only do that if it’s created in the right way.

This session will give you specific information on how to make the most of your cover to know that it is the right one for your market. The one that will have the strength to support your entire brand and build your successful business empire.

Using specific visual examples and startling before-and-after makeovers, you will actually see for yourself the amazing results that are possible when you have the right cover to work with. The title and subtitle you choose can differentiate you and drive home the promise of your brand. The copywriting, the fonts, the colors and the images (photos or illustration) you choose for your book cover can become foundational elements of your visual brand.

Or, they can cause your prospective customer to look the other way within 10 seconds, OR LESS.

As an author and expert, the key questions you must be able to answer are…

  • How will my cover do all that?
  • Where do I start?
  • How do I know what my brand is?
  • Can I see some examples of how to do this?

Everyone judges books by their covers … book buyers, distributors, publishers, agents, even you!

But do you know how to be a Book Judge?

  • Learn the right way to judge a book by its cover
  • Determine if a title and subtitle work together or are fighting each other
  • Spot a template design immediately
  • Avoid a “ho-hum” reaction from your buyers
  • Understand why you should NOT ask your family and friends what they think
  • Recognize the connection between a book and its intended audience

The right book cover also unlocks the secrets to powerful, carefully-crafted information products that enhance your position as the industry expert, expand your brand, command dramatically higher fees, and create a steady stream of revenue.

Since we are all judging covers … all the time … let’s make sure we know how to do it right. Learn how, from the creators of some of the best covers produced in the publishing industry today.
