MWA Midwest Write-In Retreat

The MWA Midwest Write-In Retreat is July 9.

Join StoryStudio for a special Write-In this summer — all of the coffee, cozy chairs, and inspiration you expect, but with a bonus: we’ll be playing host to the Mystery Writers of America!

As always, we open the doors from 10am to 4pm, and you’re free to come and go as you like. You’ll get access to our classrooms, wireless, snacks and beverages, and encouragement from other writers. Bring your laptop and settle in at one of the classroom tables. Or relax with a notepad and sink into the sofa.

For this special Write-In, we will welcome members of the MWA, an organization that supports writers of mystery and crime fiction, runs literacy programs, and seeks to bring recognition to the genre and those who practice it. The MWA will hold brief, optional information sessions and raffle off books by their members.

This free Chicago writing event is open to all. You don’t have to be a mystery writer to take part!
